Lake Powel Trip

So this past week i took a trip to lake powel with my best friend kelsey. it started out great... ha then quickly went downhill from there. we got there sunday night and had to de-spider the houseboat. it was freaking disgusting! then that night no one got sleep because the marina docks creak sooooo loud! and our neighbors decided to have a party at midnight with some other neighbors they just met! idiots. ha but the next day was good. we went out on the boat and went tubing for a little while. me and kelsey and shanny went crazy on the tube!! when we did no hands not five seconds in we were bounced so high in the air that we backflipped off the tube! me and kelsey hit heads so hard mine still hurts! haha then we came back in and scott started feeling really sick so they took him to the doctor. he stayed the night there. all the days are a blur now so i dont really remember the order of events so ill just start going. ha i got up on the wakeboard. its so much fun! dawson got attacked by red ants. we got drenched because it rained on us. we ended up just sitting around waiting for scott to feel better so we spent most of the time on the houseboat. we had to babysit alot. only one seado worked. it was too windy to go out on the boat for long. scott had to go to the hospital. we called 911. he had pneumonia and a kidney and bladder infection. now were home three days early. ha it was great...

Cuz Ya Had A Bad Day

all in all today sucked big ones. to start my day off i had to go to the dentist to get some cavities taken care of and they had to numb my face like crazy cuz it wasnt working. then he accidentally took out a chunk under my tongue cuz it got stuck between the tool and my tooth. then i felt like crap all day cuz when the numbing stuff wore off it hurt like a mother. then i got a rude awakening and was forced to realize that having a crush on someone is a waste of time. but whatever. life goes on...

Mouth Pains

i went to the dentist today.. they numbed half my face so i looked like a retard. and when he was working my tongue got stuck between the tooth and the tool and he clipped it.. and it took out a chunk. So i took a nap and i woke up and all the effects of the numbing medicine were gone and now my mouth really hurts :(

So i went to open gym tonight. It was really good and there were alot of girls there! We go to BYU this weekend for our first camp, then Westlakes camp next week, UVU that weekend, then there is one by Lagoon, and one at SLCC coming up too! Im so excited! I love basketball and i love my team! Can't wait for season next year, we are going to rock it!

A New Begining

As you all know the school year has ended. I got through the last month and trust me it was not easy. But i did it! Now its time for summer to begin! I can not wait to be a part of all the crazy adventures me and my friends have planned. This weekend has been the best summer kick off weekend ever. Starting with graduation and hanging with the girls all night long doing crazy fun stuff haha, then Tre's party friday, Earthfest with Kels and Mana's party saturday. Everything is working out perfectly and i cant wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store!

ADVANCED DANCE CONCERTS

As you all know I was in my concert at my school and two at Lehi. So counting the assembly, our night concert, and the two Lehi nights i was in four total.All of them were a full house it was AWESOME!!!! We did so good.

SPRING BREAK

We went to Arizona for Spring Break and had a blast!! We went to a Major League Baseball game and that was fun. Then we swam and hung out and met all our extended family. And we stopped at Hoover Dam and Zions. It was an awesome time!

Advanced Dance Concert!!!!!

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!!!
My Advanced Dance Class is holding their annual concert this month! The theme is Discovering DiverCity. It's all about being different and discovering the diversity in you. We spelled it diverCity though because we wanted to give it a New York city feel as well. In between numbers there will be city scenes. The dancers will dress a character, for example I'm a city bum, and walk across stage to some city sounds. It's going to be a great concert so please come and support us!! It will include a hula, a dance about fears to the theme song of The Dark Knight, a duo i don't really know how to explain, a jazz solo, a contemporary piece, a hip-hp/ballroom duo, a piece about the game clue, improv, a perky, quick, sharp piece, a piece by lehi high school, and a hip-hop finale. It's going to be quite a show!!
It is ONE DOLLAR to get in and only FOUR DOLLARS for a family (immediate family only) so please come. It will be in Willowcreek Middle School auditorium.
It's on April 27 at 7 pm.

So my Night Dance was on friday and it was a BLAST!!! I "went" with one of my buddies Christian Garcia. I'm not actually sure what that means though... It was just kind of an everybody is askin someone so lets go type thing. But were just friends. Everyone was so pretty in their dresses and handsome in their suits. We all danced together and laughed and just had a great time. It was New York themed so there was awesome decorations! All around it was just a great time!Me and Christian.

This is the video from my basketball banquet. I won the Most Outstanding Player Award. This year was the best year i have ever had. These girls are my best friends and i will miss them all so much. Our season record was 21-3 and we were league champs. It was the best year ever!!

I got my wisdom teeth yanked this morning haha. And i came out of the dentist VERY loopy and my face was numb. My lips, my tongue, my teeth, and everything!! So i couldnt talk let alone eat right so it ended up very funny in the end with my Bobby Boucher impersonation from water boy. it was great!

After much hard work, sweat, blood, and tears, my auditions for Westlake High Dance went very well! I'm not kidding by the way. My feet are torn up and have bleeding sores on the top from the combination and my knees are so bruised, worse than my basketball knee. And it was a really hard combination so i was so stressed out for it that i was really crying about it last night. But after a lot of practice and hard work i pulled it off. I made dance III and i am so super excited and proud of myself!!! I was even happy that i made first cuts!!! So yeah it will be exciting!

The students all got to play a basketball game against the faculty on Tuesday. It was so much fun!!! Well, until i got tackled by my spanish teacher lol. Her knee and the ground sandwiched my head. It was not fun, but i got up and shook it off cuz i was not going to cry in that game!!! It was a "tie." the score was 27 27 but the teachers cheat every year. The officials are always highschool kids who dont know what their doing in the first place. And its just a joking game anyways. But ya we got the ball at the last six seconds and we were up by one so we held it and coach Robinson "forgot" to run the clock. Then at the last second they called a pretend foul and the teacher made one so it was a tie. Technically we won but oh well! Here are some pictures, their blury tho sorry.

Ok so we played Lehi, our rivals, on tuesday and i got beat up!! I got knocked down three times by there really big girl. I had to come out of the game all three times for an injury! And i got fallen on by another girl! It was a football game!! But i came down right on my knee. You cant see it very well in the pictures but its a way bad bruise!!! OUCH!!!

We played PG today. It was supposed to be a hard game and they were supposed to be a difficult team to beat but we won 42-16. It was awesome! I didn't do as well as last game. I only had two points but that's ok. Were bringing it hard for Murray tomorrow!

My last basketball game was at Mapelton. In the picture is my basketball game after a well earned victory! Uh I'll try to point out who is who in it... the tallest is Laura, #30 is Lindsey, to the right of her is Hayley P, and to the left is Shanon. Above the girl flexing her arm down is Reggie, and the one flexing is Ali. Below her is Tahi making the weird face and sorta flexing her arm. #10 is Mikayla, the one above her and to the left and pointing her finger is Alex. Next to her smiling is Haley C, and below her making the funny looking face is Layne.
It was a hard game and we were losing in the first quarter but at the end we got up by one and the other team never got ahead again. The final score was 44-48. I had 11 points! I was so excited! But it was an aggressive game and the refs didnt know how to blow their whistle! But its ok im over it! So far were undefeated in the season! Hopefully we can keep it up for our game against PG tomorrow! Its gonna be a tough one!

Basketball

I made the basketball team!!!!!!! Try outs were last week and I made it!! Woo hoo! Im also a team captain! Im way excited! Our first game is on the twenty fifth against west high. Also as a team we went to Boys Ranch to do the ropes courses as a team building activity. That was really fun. Except i got scared out of my mind because i had to do the leap of faith BLINDFOLDED! That is where i had to climb up a forty foot pole then jump out like seven feet and grab a trapeeze bar! It was scary! Then I was reminded of my Skycoaster experience at Lagoon because we had to do a big swing like that too. It wasn't that high though. But it was fun! So ya this season should be fun!

My grandma, Terry Toombs, is one of the best people I know! She is smart, pretty, fun, funny, awesome, and the absolute BEST grandma in the whole wide world! I remember times when she took us on a shopping spree when we were supposed to be seeing the Christmas lights or when we hit the mail truck with her car or times when she took us on Grandmas Big Adventures to Oregon or something! I'm going to miss all the fun and definately interesting (although im not quite sure interesting quite covers it) times we had together! I love her so so much! I know she loved me and all her family so so much and would to anything and everything for them! She was so giving! I remember every time I went to the store with her I never came out empty handed! She was an awesome grandma! She wrote me a journal and in it she promissed that she would try to be a KOOL grandma! Well let me tell you this, she didnt try, she did way more than that! She met her goal to the highest extent you could imagine! I love her so so so much and yes i miss her terribly but I know that she doesnt want us to be sad too long! Ya we can miss her and we always will but we will also see her again and that knowledge is helping me so much you have no idea! It also helps that I know she is where she is needed now and she is in pain and she is so happy! She still loves us all even though she isnt here physically. She will always watch over us and she will always love us! That woman has made me who I am today! She is one of the best examples I could have in my life and i am so greatful that I was blessed with that opportunity! Grandma, you're the best! I love you so much! You will always be in my heart! I hope i can be as KOOL as a grandma as you are! You're my hero!

Ok so there was a freaking awesome stake dance on saturday! Me and my friend Emily ( the blonde) got bored and decided to do our hair all cutesy! It took like three hours to curl my hair in ringletts and get it all up in the bun like that! But it was way awesome! Then me and Kotahi ( the other one) partied the whole time and had way a lot of fun!!! It was the best stake dance ive ever been to! There were a million and a half people there too! OH and it was Tylers first dance how special! I danced with him on his first dance lol it was funny! So ya we all had fun.

Ok so guess what! Im on FFA!!! Future Farmers of America baby!!! I know I know im a dork! But thats ok you all still love me anyway! But any who so for FFA we got to go to the state fair on friday and it was pretty much amazing!! Me and my buddy Caden here rode like all the rides and walked around and had a BLAST!!! (No i do NOT like him EWWWW that would be gross!) We had to help little kids on a little farm thing for a little while but other than that it was fun! Then we met tonz of our highschool buddies who rode our bus home! That was crazy! There were like four people in my seat! We were like sardines!!! Then that night i went to the Lehi football game! That was pretty fun! I got to see all my highschool buddies that i miss! Lehi won if you were wondering! And then after the game i went to the dance at the highschool! That was soooooooo much fun! My friend Ali and I were the only Jr. High kids there lol but thats ok we knew everyone already so we fit right in! There were so many people there too! It was way cooler that a Jr. High dance!!! So ya i had a really fun time that day! Then on saturday i went to a perty so i guess im just livin the life huh?!!!!

Ok so school starts on the 18 and i am so excited! I'm moste excited for my dance class but here is the story behind it. Ok last year i thought it would be fun to try dance so i took the beginning level class. After i got into it i realized how much i liked it and how i wished i took it the year before also. Because your technically supposed to take begining in 7th, intermediate in 8th and then if your good enough you make it into advanced for 9th. But i idint do that so i didnt think i had a chance to get into advanced so i was sad. So insted i got a student council packet and started torun for that. But i was hearing rumors about me actually getting into advanced. My friend Kilee said that i did and a bunch of my friends from the advanced class last year said i did too so i went to my teacher Mrs. Hays and asked and guess what? I DID! i was so excited! I was one of three that year to skip the intermediate level! So i dropped out of the election and now im in dance! im way excited! Next year I'm also in honnors english and history and trying out for the basketball team so it should be interesting!

MESQUITE

Ok so Tyler and I went to Mesquite last week with our friends the Webbs. We stayed in the Casablanca hotel and drove to St. George every night to see a play. The first night we saw High School Musical. That was ...... alright..... Then we went to Les Miserables and that was amazing! The last one we saw was Sound of Music and I loved it! We had a lot of fun! During the day we swam and one of the days we went to this big arcade! We got about 7,000 tickets all together! That is how we got those big hats! It was a lot of fun and i can't wait to go again!

Girls Camp!!!

This mont i went to girls camp! Woo Hoo! It was way fun! We went up American Fork Canyon and stayed in a cool campground. Well besides the fact that you got lost just trying to find our site! But thats ok! We had lots of fun like in the picture above we just got done geting in a huge water fight! My dad and the Bishop won because they weren't very wet and all of us were DRENCHED!!!
In this picture its Kerynn, Emily, Sarah, and I in our tent! I'd have to say ours was the coolest! Haha it was way fun being with all those girls because they're like my bestest buddies!
Also at camp we did a service project! This is us leaving! We all didn't fit in the car so we were in the trunk! But then our other leader showed up with another car so we didn't get to ride in the back! :( But it was loads of fun! Oh yeah and we also hiked to Timpanogos Cave that was cool!
